Panel Seeks Mandatory Training For Those Prescribing Opioids

Members of a Food and Drug Administration advisory panel pushed for mandatory prescriber training as they rejected an agency-proposed Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy for long-acting opioid products by a 25-10 vote last month.
