Report Links TBI to Neurodegenerative Disease

Soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with severe or moderate traumatic brain injury are at increased risk for certain neurodegenerative symptoms such as Alzheimer-type dementia and parkinsonism, according to a report from the Institute of Medicine.
