Disease Burden for Pediatric MS Is Higher Than in Adults

SALT LAKE CITY — Children with newly diagnosed multiple sclerosis are more likely than are adults to have extensive brain lesions, especially large T2-bright and gadolinium-enhancing lesions, and involvement of the posterior fossa, researchers said at the annual meeting of the American Neurological Association.
