Antiviral Drugs May Affect Brain Pathology in HIV Patients

BOSTON — HIV-infected patients treated with an antiretroviral regimen that included a nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor cut their risk of developing primary HIV brain pathology, according to the results of an autopsy study.
