Genetic Test to Determine Warfarin Sensitivity Gets Clearance

A genetic test that detects some variants of the genes VKORC1 and CYP2C9, thus helping to identify people who are more susceptible to bleeding with warfarin, was cleared by the Food and Drug Administration last month.
