Thimerosal Not Linked to Cognitive Performance

Data on 1,047 children showed no evidence of a causal association between exposure to ethylmercury from the preservative thimerosal in vaccines during the prenatal, neonatal, or first 7 months of life and neuropsychological outcomes at ages 7–10 years, according to outcomes from a study that did not address autism.
