Two States' Mandates Increased TPA Use in Stroke

SAN FRANCISCO — State mandates forcing the transport of stroke patients to the nearest designated stroke center drove up the number of patients treated by intravenous tissue plasminogen activator in Florida and Massachusetts, according to posters presented at the 32nd International Stroke Conference.
