Anticlotting Drug Use in Children Varies Widely After Stroke

SAN FRANCISCO — Despite a 20% risk of recurrence, about a third of children receive no anticoagulation therapy after arterial ischemic stroke, Dr. Heather J. Fullerton said at a Feb. 7 press briefing held in conjunction with the 32nd International Stroke Conference.
