A 54-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with headache and loss of consciousness. Unenhanced CT showed subarachnoid hemorrhage with hydrocephalus. She was assessed to be grade 4 on the Hunt and Hess scale for cerebral aneurysms and subarachnoid hemorrhage and was intubated for airway protection.
