ATLANTA — The total number of recipients of the tetravalent meningococcal conjugate vaccine who have then developed Guillain-Barré syndrome has reached 17, but it's unclear whether the association is causal, Dr. Robert L. Davis said at a meeting of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
