Drug Combination Increases Glioma Survival, Study Finds

ATLANTA — Twenty of 32 patients (63%) with recurrent malignant glioma had at least a partial response to a combination of bevacizumab and irinotecan in a small but groundbreaking phase II trial reported at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
