CT Predicts Hemorrhage in Acute Ischemic Stroke

SAN DIEGO — Computed tomography perfusion imaging may allow clinicians to predict the risk of hemorrhage in a patient with acute ischemic stroke and has potential to screen out high-risk patients prior to thrombolytic intervention, reported Dr. Khuram S. Kazmi at the annual meeting of the American Society of Neuroradiology.
